it’s a car bought to fetch me around.. keeping on time to get to work.

It makes me fuss when i see the time for me to get home from work.. 15 minutes. By bus, it took me 1 hour :X  wth!
but.. it’s not like in KL that i can drive 100 km/h. Need to go by the rules. 60 means 60 uh. But that baby was AWESOME! LOVES it..

day one

February 23, 2009

the first date i wrote in the first day of the new semester : 23/09.. dreaming?! i guess so.  the unconscious piece of mind for zk wanted this year to end in a blitz. Max slapped me back into reality.. throwing Ethics and Code of Professional Conducts on our face. That is a very boring topic. Reminding you bits and pieces on what is Professional Ethics and Law, Confidentiality, Honesty and bla bla bla. The rest of the class was history cos i don’t know what the lecturer was mumbling. That’s usually what happens after a continuity of 2 lectures, 2 tutorials and realising that there’s 4 more gruelling hours to go doesn’t make things feel better. Worst still when the first lecture of the first day is Drugs and Ageing. Well, i guess i really aged in the class. Added “motivation” was having a friend who was fishing throughout the lecture..hahaha… you know who you are. WHY? Why they always keep the best part for last? Well, i dont know that “Armed Robbery Prevention” is part of our syllabus. Interesting.. the constable actually showed us live footage of armed robbery in a pharmacy.. which held me up a bit from starting my rotation in a pharmacy tomorrow. Imagine having a shotgun aiming at you and the idiot’s finger is on the trigger..telling you to empty the register and get the drugs out of the safe. But, if there’s option for me to choose from…i rather have a gun aiming at me rather than a filled syringe. Which you dont know…that idiot may have blood or fluids contaminated with HIV or whatever evil shit they have in the syringe. Plus, once you got pricked..you wont know whether you got infected or not. The results requires at least 6 months to give you a positive/negative HIV test. and i bet that would be the worst 6 months of your life.

i has always been eager to get started on rotation. but, these few days.. i don’t know where all these eagerness have gone. lost! total loss! probably it’s due to the long travelling time. really sien at times. NO NO… zk! YOU MUST GET BACK YOUR INTEREST!..RIGHT AWAY. It’s a 10 weeks stint.. and it’s gonna be a valuable one. afterall, i’m looking forward working another bunch of new people..  My preceptor is a vietnamese. And honestly, the vietnamese were good. Most of them study pharmacy ..most of them are pharmacist. Successful ones. Geng! Eg; the 2 viet brothers that i’ve worked with. superb! ppl to be looked up to… ok, zk.. add oil!

a superb break

last day of holidays. will be officially back into the new semester. and hell yeah, finally the 4th year! after years of sweats and tears.. and also blood from the edge of papers that i’ve handled.. FINALLY! coordinator congratulate us lots for making it into the final year of gruelling pharmaceutical subjects. this year would be mostly practical in the clinical settings..plus, two subjects, Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacotherapy. It better be good! Clinical vice, i’m allocated into a community setting in Canning Vale, which i have to travel an hour to and fro. It better be good as well!

mmm, i have the most immense holidays for the past 3 months. looking at working 5/7, 8 and a half hours a day, for 2 months to kick of my 500 hours stint. so now, i have about 204 hours to go into completion. It’s been good working in C pharmacy. okay, back to holidays. It’s 4 weeks back in Malaysia. It was supposed to be 3+ weeks as the original plan would be flying off on 19th night after an 8 hours shift at work. Me, waking up on 8th morning..thinking, “I had enough of work! I wanna go back!” Making a quick phone call to the agent to arrange a flight on 16th, without first asking for leave from my boss. But, whom i know…would be good enough to let me go. Thank you R!  Making a quick pact with my sis to give the whole family a good surprise! :p Then.. i’m off to fly back on the 17th.

Indeed, i was smilling all the way back.. hahaha. thinking how my whole family would react just makes me laugh. The feeling was immensely good. And that wasn’t killed off by the boring hours of transit in singapore. It was good. It’s good to have friends to offer to pick you up from the airport as well. You know who you are.. THANKS heaps! I would say my bro’s reaction would be the most adorable! lol~ he was surprised initially..why would my friend’s car be at the front of our house at that time. Then, the next step of seeing me in the car would be, “Sei ye..i thought u said tuesday?!” Then, my granny who is sitting in the living hall.. i dare not to just shout or scare her.. well, elderly ma! :p next.. my mom who is busy preparing dinner in the kitchen. I approached quietly.. and yelled, “Maaaaa”. My mom stunned for a minutes..ok, 30 seconds! then, asked me why am i here. I was like, “I came back early la!” haha… my mom! husband and wife.. my dad gave me the same response when i called out for him. Tht’s my dearest family…  *muaxxxxx* Not forgetting my bunch of relatives, cuzzies.. who spent precious times together in bali… K sessions. You guys were awesome.

CNY kicks in on the 26th. We went to bali for a great holidays. It’s been quite some time since we last travelled together with my uncle’s family. That 5 days were great and fun. And…more shopping done. THe weather was hot.. and humid as well. It’s a bit sticky..but bearable. Rain relieves the heat sometimes. The beach were great. THe view was breathtaking. The place..stunning. “fruity” beach.. aww.. :p the leader and guide were good as well.. It was fun and i really miss spending holidays with my family. Spontaneous jokes, unbearable laughters. Though they might be naggin’ at times.. well, they are still the dearest.

Then, my bunch of lovable friends who have been tremendously supportive, caring and sweet. Haha.. *goosebumps* But yea, it’s great to see this bunch of people; ChyeL, Yinng, WeiA, SyokF, Sher, Eva, Eveline, Cheetara ..reminiscing the time with them.. spending great hours at the falls, “accidently” had a road trip to Negeri Sembilan, lovable K sessions, surprise birthday dinner n bash. You people are just very great bunch of people that makes me laugh off my head. I just need to be zk being around you guys.. worries-free. Being fortunate enough this time around to catch some old friends which i barely met after high school; SueA, Linda, YenM, Faye. Catching up in Hakka session which has always been like that since primary school with SueA n Linda; YenM who has been busy working in Melb, Faye.. still as spontaneous as ever. It was really funny when SueA shared her experience as a stewardess.. being late..catching up with a “flying” office, which would never wait for you :p I really thank you guys a lot for giving me such a brilliant holiday.. spending time with you guys…. I can’t find a word to describe it. Miss you guys lots.

One month time was really short. It’s time to fly back to gruelling 4th year. arrgghhh… There’s always heart-shrinking moment, when you see both your parents standing right behind the departure window. You don’t see the people who walks past them. You just see them and wonders when is the next you gonna see them again.

Looks like i’ve to put all these back in memories and look forward to what’s awaiting me..
